Back to the gym today. Did 8 mins warm up on elliptical machine, then 50 mins of weights. Today's focus was back. Did some extra arm work and a little extra leg work too. Won't get to walk tonight because some of daughter's artwork is being displayed at local high school and there is some sort of ceremony also. Not too much going on, just everyone seems tired and grumpy. This could be because most of us have been sick, or the fact that it is so danged hot and humid it makes it hard to breathe. Summer is almost here I can feel it!
Workout caloric burn: 250 cals.
Todays food log:
Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs with a slice of healthy choice turkey breast and three cubes of cheese. (273 calories, 3 carbs)
Snack: Handful of cheese cubes. 114 calories.
Lunch: 2 slices whole wheat toast with peanut butter and sugar free blackberry jelly. (239 calories)
Snack: Oatmeal raisin cookie (not healthy, but all I could get my hands on at a school event - 113 calories)
Dinner: Teriaki chicken breast, italian green beans, mashed potatoes. 331 calories
For a grand total of 1456 calories for the day! Yay! So much better.
